MORTIIS Announce New Session Guitarist

Norway's legendary eccentric artist MORTIIS has posted the following message at his official web site:

"We're getting ready to head off to the U.S. for about four weeks to tour as part of the DANZIG 'Blackest of the Black' tour, and replacing Åsmund as a session guitarist is Levi's brother, Åge Michael Trøite. We just had some new promo shots taken for the lineup for this tour, so you can check out what the band looks like after 40 hours of virtually no sleep. It's not pretty but we never tried to be."

As previously reported, MORTIIS has laid down vocals for the Norwegian/American project SCUM, featuring Samoth (ZYKLON, ex-EMPEROR),Faust (ex-EMPEROR),Happy Tom (TURBONEGRO),Casey Chaos (AMEN) and Cosmocrator (MINDGRINDER). He contributed backing vocals to the song "Backstabbers Go to Heaven" for SCUM's debut album, "Gospels for the Sick", (available now on Dogjob Records, a division of Tuba) and lead vocals and lyrics to a song called "Speaking in Tongues", which will be released on an EP.
